Ingredients

  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 unbeaten egg
  • 1 medium can fruit cocktail, drained
  • 3 tsp. brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. nuts

Instructions

  1. Combine the sugar, flour, soda and salt. Add the egg and fruit cocktail.
  2. Put in an 8 x 8-inch pan. Mix the brown sugar and nuts and sprinkle over top.
  3. Bake 45 minutes at 350°.
