Walsh Mulled Wine

Warm, fragrant mulled wine infused with spices and citrus, perfect for cozy winter nights. Rich and comforting, ideal for gatherings with friends or relaxing evenings.

Ingredients

  • 1 bottle red wine
  • 1/2 wine bottle water
  • 2 Tbsp. brandy
  • 1 tsp. ground ginger
  • 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1 Tbsp. honey
  • 1 orange, cut in half
  • 1/2 lemon, cut in half

Instructions

  1. Put all ingredients in a large saucepan and heat gently, stirring well.
  2. Do not let it boil.
  3. Simmer until the fruit and spices blend with the wine.
  4. Serve warm in mugs or glasses.
  5. Use a napkin under the mug as it will be sticky.
  6. Reheat in microwave if needed.
  7. Keep leftovers refrigerated.
