Ingredients

  • 1/2 stick butter
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. milk

Instructions

  1. Mix butter, flour, sugar, vanilla, and milk in order given.
  2. Stir constantly over medium to low heat until the sauce is slightly thickened.
  3. Pour the heated sauce over slices of pound cake and serve.
