- Mix Jell-O according to directions on the box and refrigerate until it just begins to congeal.
- Whip the cream until it forms soft peaks.
- Add 1 teaspoon vanilla and 1 tablespoon sugar to the whipped cream and continue whipping until well combined.
- In a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish, layer a portion of the Jell-O on the bottom.
- Add a layer of vanilla wafers over the Jell-O.
- Spread a layer of whipped cream over the wafers.
- Repeat the layers, ending with whipped cream on top.
