- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Lightly grease a cookie sheet and set aside.
- In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, thawed whipped topping, and egg; blend well.
- Cover the mixture and chill in the refrigerator.
- Roll the chilled dough into 1-inch balls and dip each ball in confectioners sugar.
- Place the coated dough balls 1.5 inches apart on the prepared cookie sheet.
- Bake for 10 to 15 minutes or until the cookies are golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and transfer cookies to a wire rack to cool.
