Ingredients

  • 18.25 oz. lemon cake mix
  • 2 cups frozen whipped topping, thawed
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup confectioners sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Lightly grease a cookie sheet and set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, thawed whipped topping, and egg; blend well.
  4. Cover the mixture and chill in the refrigerator.
  5. Roll the chilled dough into 1-inch balls and dip each ball in confectioners sugar.
  6. Place the coated dough balls 1.5 inches apart on the prepared cookie sheet.
  7. Bake for 10 to 15 minutes or until the cookies are golden brown.
  8. Remove from the oven and transfer cookies to a wire rack to cool.
