Ingredients

  • 2 pkg. yeast
  • 2 c. warm water
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 c. oil
  • 1 large egg
  • 7 c. all-purpose flour

Instructions

  1. Dissolve yeast in warm water; add sugar, salt, egg, and oil. Mix with mixer until foamy, just until combined.
  2. Mix until it forms a dough ball.
  3. Turn bread over in the bowl and cover.
  4. Let rise for 1 1/2 hours or until it doubles in size.
  5. Knead down the dough and place in greased pans; cover and let rise for 1 hour.
  6. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20 to 30 minutes.
