Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp. water
  • 5 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 egg white, beaten
  • 1/3 c. shortening
  • 1/3 c. margarine
  • 2 1/3 c. powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Instructions

  1. Combine 2 tablespoons of water and 5 tablespoons of sugar in a bowl.
  2. Add the beaten egg white to the mixture.
  3. In a separate bowl, cream together the shortening and margarine.
  4. Gradually add the powdered sugar to the creamed mixture, mixing well.
  5. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  6. Mix all ingredients until smooth and creamy.
