Ingredients

  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon white pepper
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon cardamom
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. With an electric mixer beat the sugar with the butter.
  2. Then add one egg, a cup of flour,one egg,one cup of flour, the spices and at last the rest of the flour.
  3. Make a soft dough into a ball, put in a plastic bag, cover and place into the fridge for 24 hours.
  4. Next day use 1/2 teaspoon of dough for each cookie.
  5. Place on cooking sheets and bake at 320°F for 11-15 minutes in a preheated oven.
  6. Chilling time is not included.
