Ingredients

  • small cucumbers
  • 1 head dill
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 small onion
  • 2 qt. water
  • 1 qt. apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 c. salt

Instructions

  1. Pack cucumbers in quart jars along with dill, garlic, and onion.
  2. Boil water, apple cider vinegar, and salt until salt dissolves.
  3. Pour the hot brine over the cucumbers in the jars.
  4. Let sit until the pickles change color, then drain the brine.
  5. Boil the brine again and pour over the pickles in the jars.
  6. Seal the jars.
