Whole Wheat Peanut Bread

Ingredients

  • 2 c. whole wheat flour
  • 1 c. chopped peanuts
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/4 c. milk
  • 1 c. chunky peanut butter
  • 1 egg

Instructions

  1. In

  3. bowl stir well flour, peanuts, sugar, baking powder and
  4. salt; set
  5. aside.
  6. With
  7. whisk or fork beat milk, peanut butter
  8. and
  9. egg
  10. until
  11. well
  12. blended.
  13. Add
  14. to
  15. flour mixture; stir just to moisten.
  16. Bake in greased 9 x 5 x 3-inch pan in preheated
  17. 350°
  18. oven
  19. 60
  20. to 65 minutes or until pick inserted in center
  21. comes
  22. out clean. Cool in pan on rack 10 minutes. Remove
  23. from
  24. pan; cool completely on rack.
  25. Makes 1 loaf.
