Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1 egg white
  • 1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1 1/4 cups white flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda

Instructions

  1. Cream together the sugar, butter, and egg until fluffy.
  2. Mix the whole wheat flour, white flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl.
  3. Add the dry ingredients to the creamed mixture and combine well.
  4. Chill the dough for at least 30 minutes.
  5. Shape the dough into balls.

  8. Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 10 minutes.
