Ingredients

  • 5 c. Rice Krispies
  • 2 Tbsp. minced onion
  • 2 lb. sausage
  • 2 c. cooked rice
  • 20 oz. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
  • 6 eggs
  • 2 cans cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 c. milk

Instructions

  1. In saucepan, brown sausage and onions; drain.
  2. Put 4 cups Rice Krispies on bottom of 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
  3. Add alternate layers of sausage, rice and cheese.
  4. Poke holes through mixture with a knife.
  5. Pour mixture of eggs, soup and milk over layers. Top with remaining Rice Krispies.
  6. Bake at 350° for 40 to 45 minutes.
  7. Serves 10 to 15.
