Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup butter or 1 stick oleo
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Melt butter in a 9 x 13-inch baking pan and set aside.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, milk, and vanilla; mix well.
  3. Pour the batter into the baking pan over the melted butter.
  4. Add desired fruit and juice on top of the batter.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes until golden and bubbly.
