Yam Apple Pineapple Dish
A warm, comforting dish combining tender yams, sweet apples, and pineapple in a luscious glaze, perfect for family dinners or holiday gatherings.

Instructions
- Cook yams with skins on until almost done, then drain and set aside.
- Stir cornstarch into 1/2 cup of the cold liquid from the pineapple juice mixture.
- Add lemon juice, then mix in sugar and salt; set aside.
- Bring the remaining 1 1/2 cups of juice to a slow boil in a saucepan.
- Gradually stir in the cornstarch mixture, stirring constantly to prevent lumps.
- Add butter and continue stirring until the mixture starts to bubble.
- Remove from heat and set aside.
- In a large casserole dish, layer half of the sliced yams, sliced apples, and pineapple with some of the juice.
- Repeat layers with remaining yams, apples, pineapple, and juice.
- Cover and bake in a 350°F oven for 30 minutes.
