Ingredients

  • 6 small yellow squash
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 beaten egg
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated cheese
  • 2 stalks celery

Instructions

  1. Cook yellow squash, chopped onion, and chopped celery in salted water until tender. Drain well.
  2. In a mixing bowl, add the beaten egg, heavy cream, grated cheese, salt, and pepper to the cooked vegetables and mix thoroughly.
  3. Pour the mixture into a baking dish and sprinkle with additional grated cheese on top.
  4. Bake slowly at 350°F (175°C) for 1 hour until golden and bubbly.
