Ingredients

  • 12 ounces uneeda biscuits
  • 12 ounces saltines
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup warm water
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 tablespoons chicken fat or 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • salt
  • pepper

Instructions

  1. Fry onions slowly in fat until soft and golden. Set aside.
  2. Crush biscuits and saltines. Combine crumbs with onions and remaining ingredients. Stuff into chicken or turkey and cook as usual.
