Ingredients

  • 12 eggs, yolks and whites separated
  • 4 (1/2 pint) cartons whipping cream
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 gallon milk
  • Nutmeg to taste

Instructions

  1. Separate the eggs into yolks and whites and place them into separate large bowls.
  2. Beat each egg white and egg yolk until stiff peaks form.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat the whipping cream until soft peaks form.
  4. Add 1 cup of sugar to the egg yolks and beat for approximately 5 minutes until the sugar is dissolved.
  5. Add 1 cup of sugar to the egg whites and beat for approximately 5 minutes until the sugar is dissolved.
  6. Combine the yolks, whites, whipped cream, milk, and nutmeg to taste.
  7. Mix thoroughly and chill before serving.
