Ingredients

  • 4 lb beef brisket
  • 1 pkg Lipton dried onion soup mix
  • Worcestershire sauce
  • garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Trim fat from the beef brisket.
  2. Line a cake pan with aluminum foil, leaving 6 inches extra on each side.
  3. Place the brisket on the foil.
  4. Rub Worcestershire sauce generously over the brisket so some coats the pan.
  5. Rub with garlic powder and pepper.
  6. Top the brisket with the onion soup mix.
  7. Cover with another sheet of foil and seal well with the bottom sheet.
  8. Bake at 250°F for 3 to 3 1/2 hours.
  9. Slice into thin pieces before serving.
