Ingredients

  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/3 c. vegetable shortening
  • 1 c. shredded zucchini
  • 1/3 c. skim milk
  • 2 Tbsp. minced fresh or dried chives

Instructions

  2. In a large bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt using a pastry blender or two knives.
  3. Cut in vegetable shortening until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Stir in shredded zucchini, skim milk, and minced chives until just combined.
