Ingredients

  • 2 gal. cucumbers
  • 1 pt. pickling salt
  • 1 Tbsp. alum
  • 8 c. sugar
  • 2 1/2 pt. vinegar
  • pickling spice

Instructions

  1. Slice 2 gallons of cucumbers.
  2. Soak the sliced cucumbers in 1 gallon of cold water and 1 pint of salt for 7 days.
