Ingredients

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup chopped nuts
  • 1 stick oleo
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 1/2 cups Cool Whip

Instructions

  1. Mix flour, chopped nuts, and oleo (margarine).
  2. Press the mixture into a 9 x 13-inch pan to form the crust.
  3. Bake the crust at 350°F (175°C) for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
  4. Allow the crust to cool completely.
  5. In a separate bowl, beat softened cream cheese with powdered sugar and vanilla until smooth.
  6. Fold in 1 1/2 cups of Cool Whip to the cream cheese mixture.
  7. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the cooled crust.
  8. Top with additional Cool Whip or cherry topping as desired.
  9. Chill before serving for best results.
