Ingredients

  • 1 qt. chopped cabbage
  • 1/2 c. chopped green pepper
  • 1/2 c. chopped celery
  • 1/2 c. chopped carrots
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 c. water
  • 1 Tbsp. salt
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. vinegar

Instructions

  1. Combine the chopped cabbage, green pepper, celery, carrots, and onion in a bowl.
  2. Cover the mixture with 2 cups of water and add salt.
  3. Let the mixture stand for 1 hour.
