Ingredients

  • 3 c. flour
  • 3 c. sugar
  • 5 eggs
  • 3 sticks real butter
  • 3 Tbsp. lemon flavor
  • 3/4 c. 7-Up

Instructions

  1. Mix sugar and butter thoroughly.
  2. Add eggs and flour alternately until well combined, using a hand mixer or electric beater.
  3. Add lemon flavor and 7-Up, mixing until incorporated. Optionally, add yellow food coloring.
  4. Pour the batter into a Bundt pan.
  5. Bake at 325° to 350° for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
  6. Insert a toothpick after 45 minutes to check for doneness.
  7. Let the cake cool in the pan for 25 minutes before serving.
