Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. oleo
  • 1 1/2 c. chopped walnuts
  • 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 8 oz. whipped topping
  • 3 c. strawberries
  • 4 Tbsp. cornstarch

Instructions

  1. Mix together sugar, flour, oleo, and walnuts; spread in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
  2. Bake at 350°F for 30 minutes.
  3. Remove from oven and let cool.
  4. Fold whipped topping with 1 cup sugar and softened cream cheese; spread over cooled crust.
  5. Arrange strawberries on top of the cream cheese layer.
  6. Mix cornstarch, jello, and water in a 2-quart saucepan.
  7. Cook until mixture becomes clear; cool.
  8. Spread the cooled cornstarch mixture over the strawberries.
  9. Refrigerate and let set overnight.
