Ingredients

  • chuck roast or other beef, cut in large chunks
  • potatoes, pared and cut in pieces
  • carrots, pared and cut in pieces
  • onions, cut in pieces
  • celery, cut in chunks
  • about 1/4 c. barley (optional)
  • 1 can V-8 juice
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. tapioca (1 minute)

Instructions

  1. Put in pan and bake at 250° for 6 hours.
