Ingredients

  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1 large can crushed pineapple
  • 8 oz. cream cheese
  • 1 small box vanilla instant pudding
  • 2 cups milk
  • 9 oz. Cool Whip

Instructions

  1. Prepare the yellow cake mix according to the package directions and bake in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
  2. When the cake is done, punch holes in it with a fork.
  3. Pour the crushed pineapple with juice over the warm cake.
  4. In a bowl, beat the cream cheese, vanilla instant pudding, and milk together until thick.
  5. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the pineapple layer.
  6. Cover the cake with Cool Whip.
  7. Garnish with shredded coconut before serving.
