Ingredients

  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 stick butter
  • 2 cups sharp cheese, grated
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper or 1/2 to 1 teaspoon Tabasco sauce
  • 2 cups Rice Krispies
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 to 1 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the grated cheese, red pepper or Tabasco sauce, and softened margarine or butter until well blended.
  3. Add the rice Krispies, flour, and salt to the mixture and stir until a dough forms.
  4. Roll the dough out on a floured surface to about 1/8 inch thickness.
  5. Cut into desired shapes using cookie cutters or a knife.
  6. Place the cutouts onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes until golden and crispy.
  8. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
