Ingredients

  • 1 c. margarine
  • 2 c. light brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. light corn syrup
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 Tbsp. vanilla
  • 7 qt. popped popcorn

Instructions

  1. Boil margarine, light brown sugar, and light corn syrup in a large saucepan.
  2. Once the mixture comes to a full boil, remove from heat and add salt, baking soda, and vanilla, stirring well.
  3. Pour the caramel mixture over 7 quarts of popped popcorn in a large pan.
  4. Mix well to coat all the popcorn evenly.
  5. Bake in a 200°F (93°C) oven for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
