Ingredients

  • 1 head shredded lettuce
  • 1 package frozen peas (not thawed)
  • 1 cup thin sliced celery
  • 1 cup thin sliced red onion
  • 2 cups mayonnaise with 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 12 slices crisp fried bacon, crumbled
  • 1 cup shredded Mozzarella
  • 1/2 cup shredded Cheddar

Instructions

  1. Layer shredded lettuce, frozen peas (not thawed), sliced celery, and sliced red onion in a large casserole or pan as listed, except the mayo and cheese.
  2. Combine mayonnaise with 2 teaspoons of sugar and shredded cheeses, then spread over the top of the layered salad.
  3. Crumble the cooked bacon and sprinkle evenly over the cheese layer.
  4. Cover tightly with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight before serving.
