Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Martha White self-rising flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
  • 3 cups chopped apples
  • 3/4 cup oatmeal
  • 3/4 cup sifted Martha White self-rising flour
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Grease a 9-inch square baking dish and lightly dust with flour.
  3. In a bowl, combine sugar, self-rising flour, and cinnamon.
  4. Add chopped nuts if desired.
  5. Mix in chopped apples and oatmeal.
  6. Sprinkle the brown sugar over the mixture.
  7. Combine all ingredients thoroughly and transfer to the prepared baking dish.
