Ingredients

  • 20 oz crushed pineapple (undrained)
  • 3 cups chopped peeled apples
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 3/4 cup melted margarine
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/4 cup sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9 x 13-inch casserole dish.
  2. Spread the undrained crushed pineapple evenly in the prepared dish.
  3. Add the chopped peeled apples on top of the pineapple and sprinkle with sugar.
  4. Sprinkle the dry yellow cake mix evenly over the apples and pineapple.
  5. Sprinkle chopped pecans over the cake mix layer.
  6. Pour the melted margarine evenly over the entire crisp.
  7. Bake for 50 to 60 minutes until golden and bubbly.
