Ingredients

  • 12 apples, chopped
  • 6 red sweet peppers, chopped
  • 6 green sweet peppers, chopped
  • 2 small hot peppers, chopped
  • 3 large onions, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp. salt
  • 1 1/2 lb. light brown sugar
  • 1 pt. vinegar

Instructions

  1. Mix together the chopped apples, red and green sweet peppers, hot peppers, and onions in a large pot.
  2. Add the salt, brown sugar, and vinegar to the mixture.
  3. Bring to a boil and let it cook for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Pack the hot relish into sterilized jars and seal tightly.
