Tips & Substitutions

To enhance the flavor, consider adding a pinch of smoked paprika to the mayonnaise or cream cheese mixture. If you can't find Applewood smoked white Cheddar, a standard sharp white Cheddar will work, but it will alter the flavor profile slightly. For a bit of crunch, you can add thinly sliced cucumbers or radishes to the filling.

Serving Suggestions

These tea sandwiches are perfect for a light lunch or as part of a brunch spread. Serve them alongside a refreshing salad or a cup of soup for a complete meal. They also pair beautifully with a chilled glass of white wine or iced tea, making them an excellent choice for outdoor gatherings or picnics.

Storage & Reheating

Store any leftover sandwiches in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. To reheat, place the sandwiches in a skillet over low heat, covering them with a lid to warm through without burning the outside. Alternatively, you can also use a toaster oven for a crispy finish.
