Ingredients

  • 1 can apple juice (46 oz.)
  • 8 cups water
  • 6 tea bags
  • 1/2 lemon or 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar
  • 3 sticks whole cinnamon
  • 10 to 15 cloves

Instructions

  1. Place spices in 8 cups water and bring to a boil.
  2. Simmer with tea bags for a few minutes, covered.
  3. Add sugar, lemon or orange juice, and apple juice.
  4. Remove tea bags, turn off heat, and allow spices to steep for a few minutes.
  5. Strain tea to remove spices before serving.
  6. Serve hot or iced. Can refrigerate for 2 or 3 days.
