Nut bark is a delicious, crunchy treat combining chocolate or vanilla candy coating with a variety of nuts, perfect for snacking or gifting during festive occasions.

Ingredients

  • 1 (28 oz.) package chocolate or vanilla flavored candy coating
  • 2 cups coarsely chopped almonds

Instructions

  1. In a heavy saucepan, over low heat, melt the candy coating, stirring frequently.
  2. Remove from heat; stir in the chopped nuts.
  3. Spread the mixture into a thin layer on 2 aluminum foil-lined baking sheets.
  4. Chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes or until firm.
  5. Break into chunks.
  6. Store the nut bark covered at room temperature or in the refrigerator.
