Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground meat
  • 1 can pinto beans
  • 3/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 to 3/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 cup onion
  • 1 1/2 to 2 Tbsp. chili powder
  • 1 Tbsp. flour

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground meat in a skillet and drain excess grease, then add chopped onion and pinto beans.
  2. In a bowl, make a paste with chili powder, salt, flour, and enough water to create a thin mixture.
  3. Add the paste and ketchup to the meat mixture, then pour in 1/2 cup water.
  4. Simmer the chili for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
