Asparagus Roast

Ingredients

  • 1 lb fresh asparagus
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground pepper

Instructions

  1. Snap off the ends of the asparagus.Arrange in a 10*15 baking pan with sides.Drizzle with olive oil.
  2. Broil 5 to 6 inches from heat for 4 minutes.
  3. Sprinkle with sugar,salt and pepper.
  4. I have found that using other veggies will work.I have added cherry tomatos, small onions and red or yellow veggies.
