Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp. oil
  • 1 (3 lb.) fryer, cut up
  • 2 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1/2 c. sherry
  • 2 Tbsp. honey
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 scallion, diced

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a skillet.
  2. Brown the chicken pieces in the oil.
  3. Drain the oil from the skillet.
  4. Combine soy sauce, sherry, honey, salt, and diced scallion in a bowl.
  5. Pour the sauce mixture over the browned chicken.
  6. Simmer covered for about 30 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and brown.
