Ingredients

  • 1 lb. fresh asparagus, trimmed
  • 1/4 cup dry bread crumbs
  • 3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 2 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 Tbsp. chopped pimentos

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan over medium heat, cook asparagus in boiling salted water until tender, about 8 minutes.
  2. Meanwhile, in a skillet, brown bread crumbs in butter.
  3. Drain asparagus; place in a serving dish.
  4. Sprinkle with bread crumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, and chopped pimentos.
