Ingredients

  • 1 whole chicken, cut up
  • 1/2 stick butter
  • 1 lemon
  • 4 Tbsp olive oil
  • oregano
  • basil
  • salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cover the bottom of a pan with a very thin layer of olive oil.
  3. Place the chicken pieces in the pan and squeeze lemon juice over each piece.
  4. Season each piece with oregano, basil, salt, and pepper.
  5. Place a thin pat of butter on top of each piece of chicken.
  6. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 1 hour, until the chicken is cooked through.
