Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup butter
  • 6 cups sliced onions
  • 3 boneless chicken breasts
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom
  • 2 teaspoons minced fresh ginger
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 2 or 3 large tomatoes

Instructions

  1. Heat butter in a large skillet.
  2. Saute chicken and onions for 10 minutes.
  3. Add spices and chopped tomatoes.
  4. Place the mixture in a baking dish.
  5. Bake, covered, in a 350°F oven for 30 minutes.
