Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups finely ground graham crackers
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 6 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 2 pounds cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 cups sour cream
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Combine finely ground graham crackers, 1/4 cup sugar, and melted butter in a bowl and mix well.
  3. Press the mixture firmly into a greased and floured 10 x 3-inch spring-form pan to form the crust.
  4. Bake the crust for 6 to 9 minutes or until the edges are brown.
  5. Remove from oven and let cool.
  6. Reduce oven temperature to 350°F.
  7. In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth.
  8. Gradually add 2 cups sugar, mixing well.
