Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 c. flour
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/3 c. warm water
  • 1 egg, slightly beaten
  • 2 qt. sour apples, cut fine
  • 1 c. raisins
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 c. currants
  • 1/2 c. butter, melted
  • 1/4 lb. almonds, chopped and blanched
  • 1 c. sugar

Instructions

  1. Put large linen cloth or large new cheesecloth on table for rolling up strudel.
