Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb. bacon
  • 4 medium potatoes
  • 1 medium onion
  • 2 c. cream-style corn
  • 2 c. whole kernel corn
  • 2 c. milk
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • pepper

Instructions

  1. Cook potatoes until tender, then drain.
  2. Fry bacon in a large pot until crispy, then remove and set aside.
  3. In the same pot, brown the onion in the bacon fat.
  4. Add the cooked potatoes, cream-style corn, whole kernel corn, milk, salt, and pepper to the pot.
  5. Simmer the chowder for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
