Ingredients

  • 5 eggs, separated
  • 2 Tbsp. butter, melted
  • 1 cup milk
  • 3 strips cooked bacon, chopped
  • or 3/4 cup chopped ham
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. salt

Instructions

  1. Separate the eggs into yolks and whites.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the egg yolks, melted butter, milk, chopped bacon or ham, pepper, salt, and parsley.
  3. Set the yolk mixture aside.
  4. In another bowl, beat the egg whites until stiff, about 2 minutes.
  5. Gently fold the beaten egg whites into the yolk mixture.
  6. Pour the combined mixture into 6-ounce custard cups.
  7. Place the cups in an oblong pan filled with 1-inch hot water.
  8. Bake in a 350°F oven for 30 minutes.
