June Layer Salad

Instructions
- Cut lettuce enough to cover the bottom of a casserole dish.
- Mix mayonnaise and sugar together until well combined.
- Layer lettuce, celery, green pepper, red onion, and cooked peas in the dish.
- Spread the mayonnaise mixture over the peas layer.
- Cover with grated Cheddar cheese.
- Sprinkle bacon bits on top of the cheese layer.
- Cover with Glad Wrap and let set in the refrigerator overnight.
- Beat the salad if made a day ahead before serving.
