Ingredients

  • 1 big jar Randall Great Northern beans
  • 16 oz can kidney beans
  • 1 can lima beans
  • 1 large onion
  • 1 green pepper
  • 1 1/2 cups white sugar
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1 1/2 pounds ranch bacon

Instructions

  1. Combine the Randall Great Northern beans, kidney beans, lima beans, onion, and green pepper in a large baking dish.
  2. Add some of the bacon drippings from cooked bacon to the mixture for extra flavor.
  3. Stir in the white sugar, ketchup, and the cooked bacon pieces.
  4. Bake uncovered at 325°F (160°C) for 2 hours.
  5. If the mixture is too soupy, bake for additional time until desired consistency is reached.
  6. Do not increase the oven temperature during baking.
