Ingredients

  • 3 strips bacon
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 15 oz. pork and beans
  • 1 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp. catsup

Instructions

  1. Dice the bacon and fry it in a skillet until half cooked.
  2. Add the chopped onion to the bacon and cook until slightly brown.
  3. Pour off the grease from the bacon and onion mixture.
  4. Add the pork and beans to the skillet.
  5. Stir in the brown sugar, vinegar, and catsup until well combined.
  6. Cover the skillet with a lid and bake in a 300°F (150°C) oven for about 2 hours, or simmer on the stove for approximately 30 minutes.
