Cheddar cheese and sausage are wrapped in a crumbly dough, baked to golden perfection. These savory bites are perfect for parties, snacks, or casual gatherings with bold flavors.

Ingredients

  • 2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 1/4 c. flour
  • 1/2 c. butter, melted
  • 1-inch piece cooked sausage

Instructions

  1. Work the shredded Cheddar cheese and flour together until crumbly with your hands.
  2. Add melted butter and mix well with a fork.
  3. If the dough seems dry, work it with your hands until it comes together.
  4. Mold 1 teaspoon of dough around the cooked sausage and shape into a ball.
  5. Place the balls 2 inches apart on an ungreased baking sheet.
  6. Chill the formed balls for 1 hour.
  7. Bake in a 400°F oven for 15 to 20 minutes until golden.
