Creamy Gouda wrapped in flaky crescent rolls with a hint of mustard and sesame seeds, perfect as an appetizer for gatherings or cheese lovers seeking warm, savory bites.

Ingredients

  • 1 round Gouda
  • 1 small package crescent rolls (4 roll package)
  • mustard
  • egg white
  • sesame seed
  • crackers (optional)

Instructions

  1. Unroll the crescent rolls and seal all seams together by pinching and patting.
  2. Spread mustard over the sealed crescent rolls.
  3. Remove wax cover from the Gouda and place the cheese in the center of the dough.
  4. Bring the corners of the dough up and over the Gouda, gathering edges and ensuring seams stay closed.
  5. Brush the top of the dough with egg white and sprinkle with sesame seed.
  6. Bake according to the directions on the crescent roll can.
  7. Serve with crackers, if desired.
